Little tidbit of information I shared during my event tonight. Did you know there are more bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract than there are cells in the body? In fact, there are an estimated 400-1000 different species of bacteria in our GI system…some are good and some are bad. Symbiosis means to “live in harmony” which is what we hope for with our intestinal bacteria. Dysbiosis is the opposite of symbiosis and means the bad bacteria has taken over, kind of like when a pond is overgrown with bacterial algae. handmaid items to wear for the maid of the brides
Dysbiosis can result in any number of symptoms and conditions including digestive issues, lactose intolerance, chronic fatigue, joint pain, Fibromyalgia, allergies, yeast infections, thrush, lowered libido, fatigue, mental fog, sugar cravings (including alcohol), weight gain, skin problems such as acne or hives, nail fungi, hyperactivity; learning and behavioral disorders, and depression.
Have you or someone you know ever experienced any of these symptoms?
